Recording Notification Service
The Recording Notification Service (RNS), allows members of the public to receive an email alert, whenever a document is recorded at the Victoria County Clerk’s Office, that matches the name they have registered**.
There are NO FEES! All you need is a valid email address.
Be advised, by statute, not all names appearing on a document are indexed. We are required to index grantors and grantees.
** Our Recording Notification service is a courtesy to inform registered users of document recordings that may occur. There is no guarantee that using this service will inform you of all documents recorded that may pertain to your property. It is important to know that legally, the clerk's office may not refuse to file a document that meets all statutory requirements, and this will not prevent the recording of a document on your property. The intent of this program is a courtesy to notify you in the event a document (matching the names entered during registration) is filed.
